love the sound, April 23, 2010 By sub guy (EAU CLAIRE, WI, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: OBCON Single 12" Hidden Chamber Hatchback Sub Woofer Box (Electronics) love this box ive had it in 2 different cars in a eclipse and a grand prix both sounded awesome. i didnt have anything huge hooked up to it but it sounded like it. ran a single p2 rockford 12" with a 760 pioneer amp and it was louder then alot of friends who had more invested. took up too much room so have to part with it, it will be a sad day

I'll be putting a Rockford Punch P2D2 12" sub into it and powering it with 400 RMS watts. This box is huge, but if you have the room I would say go with it.
Update: I installed the sub, hooked everything up in my SUV, and before I even has a chance to turn it up there was a rattle coming from the box and I noticed 2 screws stripped on one of the the ports. I am debating if I should fix it myself or not, but have contacted the seller to see what my options are.
The seller refunded me a couple bucks instead of sending it back. I installed the sub with T-nits so I had some time invested in it and didn't want to ship it back for a new one. I was able to fix the screws and everything works great now.

Until I received this box I had never seen a "Hidden Chamber" box. I love how the ports are curved inside and outside to reduce wind noise. The brushed aluminum sides look awesome. This box will fit ANY 12" sub you have, I put a MTX 9500 12 in mine and it has plenty of room. Over all I am very happy with this box.
