So we were used to something very nice, which this is not. It's average. If you are coming from no stereo, or one simply driving the speakers from the head unit, then this will be fine. Otherwise, you're likely to be disappointed. Specific issues: No internal ground interference mgmt (you hear the engine RPM without external filters), pigtail wiring for speakers as opposed to block connectors, stated watts feels like a gross overstatement.
On balance and for the price, it's a good value. You must know the kind of buyer that you are: High end expecting great sound, or middle of the road and this will be good enough.

Pros and Cons
What a great sounding amp! This hybrid dual plane discrete design eliminates the ever present sampling distortion for a clean smooth non breathing full range sound. No cracks or screeches at the usual odd frequencies. It is the perfect combination for my car computer 5.1 soundcard and makes up for crummy digital sound quirks.
It is not a true 8 channel line input amp. Even though it has 8 channel outputs it only has only 6 channel inputs with channels 7 and 8 strapped to channels 5 and 6, which is important for digital applications that need 8 separate inputs for 7.1 surround sound. However using 5, 6, 7 and 8 for mid and bass can be controlled with the active top mounted crossovers and works great for 5.1 surround sound.
Even though it has 8 channels of output it is really more a quad 4 channel amp. If you examine the wires there are 16, 18 gauge pairs from the amplifier which produce 37.5 Watts... Read more
