Maybe I got a dud., May 1, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kenwood P-WD253MRS 10-Inch Marine Subwoofer and Amplifier Package with Silver Cosmetic Grill (Electronics) I was very pleased with the kit for the price I paid for it. The subwoofer and amp seemed to be of good quality, although the frame of the of the woofer is made of plastic. But, after 2hrs of listening the woofer started to rattle. I then noticed that the gray dust cover had separated from the cone about halfway around the woofer. This kit was installed in my boat. I am going to try to glue the dust cover back to the woofer as I don't want to go through the hassle of uninstalling and returning. Will post update if repair was successful.
Update 5-15-12:
My repair using superglue seems to have worked for now, but the cosmetics of the woofer has been ruined. Now when you look at the woofer you see the dried superglue around the edges of the dust cover. I am very displeased with this product. Will probably have to replace next season.
